Supported by KYTANZOriginal Inner Architectures: a winter immersion in Auckland

A day of Kundalini Yoga, meditation, mantra and movement by the water at Blockhouse Bay, led by Maheshjoti and sponsored by KYTANZ.
On Sunday 12 July, a group gathered at Blockhouse Bay Boat Club for Original Inner Architectures, a one-day meditation immersion led by Maheshjoti Ka of Kundalini Yoga & Dance NZ.
From an 8 am start to the closing circle at 5:30 pm, the day moved through kriya, meditation, mantra, gong and movement. In Maheshjoti’s words, the group explored “the inner cartographies, moving through the different dimensions of mind, emotion, body, and soul”, and each person created a personal inner map with creative materials, “making visible the landscapes we encountered through meditation and spiritual practice.”
A one-day kundalini immersion is a journey into the deepest layers of our own being. This time, we travelled through meditation, sacred chanting, deep contemplation, and the creation of personal inner maps, tracing the landscapes of our meditation practice and our inner processes.
My heartfelt thanks to all the courageous souls who chose to take part in this immersion. It was a unique opportunity to connect, raise our collective frequency, and consciously move beyond our habitual thoughts, behaviours, and repetitive patterns. Together, we explored deeper dimensions of ourselves, opening to new perspectives and the expansive possibilities that emerge when we dare to look within.
Thank you to every participant who joined this journey, and to the wonderful teachers who supported this immersion with their presence, wisdom, and grace.I’m sharing here a few of the most beautiful moments from the day. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to KYTANZ for#kundaliniyoga #meditation#kundalini#yoga#meditacion supporting this immersion, and to the entire Sangat for continuing to nurture this growing community. May we continue creating, building, and meditating together. One of the greatest gifts we can offer one another is the opportunity to gather, meditate, share, and remember our true nature as a community.
Sat Naam.
With love, Maheshjoti
KYTANZ sponsored the immersion as part of our support for member-led events, and KYTANZ members attended at a reduced rate. Supporting days like this one helps more of the New Zealand sangat practise together.
