Teacher Training Scholarship

KYTANZ scholarships support people training as Kundalini Yoga teachers, funded by the membership community. They apply to Level 1 and Level 2 training, are administered directly between KYTANZ and you, and are independent of any training organisation.

Who can apply

You do not need to be a KYTANZ member. You will need a sincere commitment to Kundalini Yoga, an intention to contribute to community wellbeing, a willingness to stay in touch with KYTANZ, acceptance into a recognised KRI-certified teacher training, and a letter of acceptance from your Lead Teacher.

The process

Read the policy

Start with the Teacher Training Scholarship Policy so you know what is being agreed.

Get accepted, and get a letter

Secure your place in a recognised KRI-certified teacher training, then ask your Lead Teacher for a letter confirming your acceptance, your start dates, and their acknowledgement of your KYTANZ scholarship support.

Complete the application form

It asks about your intention, how you will share the teachings, and what will support your commitment.

Meet the committee

Attend a KYTANZ meeting or connect with the committee as part of your application.

The committee reviews it

Applications are reviewed by the KYTANZ Committee.

Your first instalment is released

On confirmation of your enrolment.

How it is paid

In three instalments:

  • On confirmation of enrolment
  • At your mid-training check-in, with proof of attendance
  • On completion, with your final reflection

What KYTANZ asks in return

Confirm you have received the funding, and stay connected through three check-ins: at commencement, mid-training, and on completion.

Contribute at least one of a written testimonial, a newsletter contribution, or sharing a community-based offering. And uphold the values of the teachings.

Good to know

If commitments or communication are not maintained, KYTANZ may withhold remaining instalments, request partial reimbursement, or decline future applications.
