Venus reborn in Scorpio: join us for Subagh Kriya

On Saturday 24 October, Venus is reborn at the first degree of Scorpio. That morning our sangat reaches day 32 of our 40-day Subagh Kriya, and you’re welcome to practise the final days with us.
What happens on Saturday
About every nineteen months, Venus passes between the Earth and the Sun and disappears into its light. Astrologers call this meeting a Venus Star Point. Over eight years, five of them trace an almost perfect five-pointed star around the zodiac.

This one is the last in Scorpio for well over a century. From 2034 this point of the star moves into Libra. Scorpio asks what we hold on to and what we’re ready to let go of. Venus speaks to what we love and value, including how we value ourselves.
Every Kundalini yogi knows this cycle from Sa Ta Na Ma: infinity, life, death and rebirth. Venus fades into the Sun and, about a week later, rises again before dawn as the morning star.
Why Subagh Kriya
Subagh means good fortune, or grace. It’s a practice for prosperity, in what we value as much as in what we earn, which makes it a natural companion for Venus. It’s also a practice of generosity, and that’s Scorpio’s question too: what do we hold, and what do we share?
And we practise at dawn, just as Venus returns to the morning sky.
