A 2½-Hour Kundalini Meditation JourneyCLEAR THE OLD. RESET FROM THE INSIDE OUT.
Thursday 15 October · 5:30am AEDT (Sydney time) · Online via Zoom
You won’t be the same on the other side of this practice.
Two and a half hours with one mantra.
One powerful intention: to go beyond the subconscious patterns that have been running you, and shift them for good.
Kirtan Kriya (Sa Ta Na Ma) is one of the signature meditations of Kundalini Yoga. It is a catalyst for transformation, a practice for breaking habits, moving through transition and focusing the mind, so you can let go of whatever no longer serves you.
This isn’t a quick meditation. This is a full reset.
WHY 2½ HOURS?
In Kundalini Yoga, how long you sit matters as much as the practice itself. Each length is said to reach a little deeper. 11 minutes begins to work on the nerves and glands. 31 minutes reaches every cell and rhythm of the body. 62 minutes starts to bring the subconscious into line with the conscious mind. At 2½ hours, the teachings say the whole psyche shifts. The new pattern settles in so deeply that it holds steady in your inner world and your outer life, and your sense of self opens into something far greater. This new baseline becomes who you are.
It’s rare to sit for the full 2½ hours, and it isn’t meant to be done alone. You’ll be held by the group, guided through every stage, and carried by the Sa Ta Na Ma mantra, a sound that has steadied people through great change for generations. You don’t need to be an experienced meditator. You only need to arrive, sit down and let the practice do its work.
WHAT THIS PRACTICE CHANGES
Kirtan Kriya works directly with the things that keep us stuck:
- Old habits
- Mental noise
- Automatic reactions
- Scattered attention
- Emotional patterns
- The stories we keep repeating
The practice brings you back to one thing: presence.
And presence gives you choice.
Kirtan Kriya has also been studied in relation to memory, cognition, stress, mood, sleep and wellbeing.
YOUR 3¼-HOUR JOURNEY
- Open the space. We tune in and prepare the body and breath for a long meditation.
- 2½ hours of Sa Ta Na Ma. We journey with one mantra, together.
- Deep rest. We close with deep relaxation so body and mind can integrate everything that has moved.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF…
- You’re ready to let go of an old pattern that keeps coming back.
- You want to drop out of overthinking and worry and come home to your body.
- You can feel a chapter of your life is ready to close.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need to have done Kundalini Yoga or meditated before?
No. Many people who join have done very little Kundalini, or none at all. You don’t need to sit perfectly or know the mantra beforehand. We guide you through every stage, so all you need to do is show up.
Is there a replay available? How long can I access it?
Yes. You’ll get lifetime access to the recording, so you can revisit it whenever you like.
Can I really sit for 2½ hours?
Most people think they can’t until they’re in it, and the group helps. You’ll be guided throughout, and you’re welcome to adjust your position whenever you need. Sit on a cushion, a chair or against a wall, whatever lets you stay with the practice.
Do I need to have my camera on?
No, you’re welcome to have your camera off if that feels more comfortable.
What do I need to bring?
A cushion or chair, a blanket, water and an open heart. If you can, choose a quiet, warm spot where you can settle in.
Don’t worry if life interrupts. Kundalini is a householder’s yoga, made for real life, so a child wandering in, a pet nearby or a bit of noise in the background is completely fine. You’re welcome to practise with your family around you if that’s what works best.
Should I eat before?
Have something light, if anything, and keep water nearby. A very full stomach can make a long sit uncomfortable.
