Sound Healing Gong Meditation
Gong meditation is a unique type of sound practice that involves using therapeutic gong sounds and vibrations to bring about healing. Sound therapy has been used to manage a broad range of health conditions. It is believed that all forms of matter including the body’s cells vibrate at different frequencies. Factors such as stress, depression and disease cause cells and organs within our bodies to vibrate at non-optimal frequencies.
You will lay down on a mat with a comfy pillow and blanket and rest, relax and close your eyes. The gong meditation class will be guided by Sita Simran / Jenny. The gong is played very softly at the mediation session progresses the volume is gradually increased.
Enthusiasts believe that gong meditations can help reduce stress and liberate emotional blockages. Scientific evidence suggests that certain forms of sound therapy prompt damaged human DNA strands to repair themselves. Some tones are thought to promote vitality and healing, and also to enhance happiness.
